The FINAL day of the Dopey Challenge was the Disney marathon – and it started off with a BANG! No really – each wave is sent off by fireworks and they were especially awesome for the marathon. I was running a little late, but managed to give myself a pep-talk on the way to my coral. I had no idea how this day was going to turn out – was I going to get swept? Was I going to make it?
After a looonnggg day of stressing about the dreaded Balloon Ladies, I managed to cross the finish line and complete my first marathon as well as all 48.6 miles of the Dopey Challenge!

Congratulations! I can’t imagine running that long. I can do 30 miles on my bike though!:)

Philly Love Run 1/2 – and a bunch of fun group bike rides coming up – AND being a bike patrol for a race – I am really excited for that! Looking to be a fun year! 🙂
